As someone who has always been a bit of a loner, June has developed a quiet and calm demeanor.  Jun is very level headed in most situations, and he won't let his emotions get the best of him. He doesn't say much, and he only contributes to a conversation when he feels that it is absolutely necessary. His responses are blunt, which can lead to mistaking him for someone who is distant and uninterested. However, Jun is actually quite shy, so sometimes he is just nervous as to what to say next! Conversations with him may be awkward due to the lack of initial conversation, but after he has become comfortable with you, one might see that he actually has a lot on his mind! 

Jun is also quite naive, trusting others completely and doing whatever they say just because they asked. This makes him somewhat of a pushover, but he never seems to have a problem with it. He does like helping people, and he doesn't mind to give his time away to others. He is patient and attentive to other's needs, making sure to be thorough in finishing their requests. He's a firm believer in "any job worth doing is worth doing well." He also carries this philosophy in other parts of his life such as his relationships and schooling. 

One could criticize Jun for being too cautious and afraid to take risks. He is very concerned about the way others think about him, and he strives to get everyone's seal of approval. This makes him quite hesitant to do anything that would really make him stick out of the crowd. Those who care about him are worried that he will not be able to succeed later on due to this inability to adapt to change.

History

Born as the youngest son, Jun never had a chance to stand out in the spotlight. While his only competition for attention was his older sister, it was hard to compete with her. She was loud, bold, and charismatic, and she excelled at whatever she put her mind to. Although she was the one who garnered the most attention out of the two, Jun's older sister treated Jun as her equal. She loved spending time with her younger brother, and Jun didn't mind spending his time with her. In hopes of riding his sister's coattails, he thought that it wouldn't be a bad idea to listen to his sister's advice. 

As he grew older, Jun found himself to be alone more often than not. It wasn't easy for him to make new friends since his sister was always around him. She was the one who would talk for him or drag him to do things. His sister's constant presence made him a little shy when interacting with strangers. So instead of going up to others and initiating conversation, he would sit by himself and hope that others would talk to him first. Unfortunately for him, this wasn't how most people made friends, so he had to grow used to being alone without many people to talk to. He didn't mind still because as long as he had his sister to talk to then that's all the friendship he needed. 

However, the time he had with his sister had come to an end. She was to go away for college soon, and she wouldn't be around to visit very often. When she left for school, Jun grew very sad, but still stuck in his ways of not speaking to anyone unless spoken to. Therefore he spent most of his time just studying quietly at school and returning home as quickly as possible. Hearing about Jun's loneliness, his sister wrote to him, saying that he should learn to stand up straight and take advantage of high school saying it would be a fresh new start for him. 

Taking his sister's advice to heart, he hoped to make new friends in high school although he still finds it a bit hard to even say "hello." However, he is determined to make his sister proud of him by having a bunch of new friends by the time he graduates.

Relationships: 

Maeda, Eito (Father): Jun and his father have a very good relationship. His father spoils him a good bit always offering to go into the city and buy him the newest games even if its not really in their budget. 

Maeda, Suzuki (Mother): Jun's mother doesn't spoil him as much as his father does, but she loves Jun just the same. Jun thinks that his mother works too hard, and he wishes he could do more for her to have an easier life.

Maeda, Nanako (sister): They have a very close relationship, and Jun misses her dearly. Someone who is very influential in his life, and Jun looks up to her a bit more than he should.
